Aug. 3 talk to touch on state’s bizarre history
Author Chad Lewis will discuss the bizarre history of Wisconsin during the Monday, Aug. 3, quarterly meeting of the Ozaukee County Historical Society.
The meeting, which will be at Sandhill Tree Farm in the Town of Grafton, will begin at 7 p.m. with the presentation at 7:30 p.m.
Lewis has written more than 35 books and extensively lectures on bizarre history of the state.
This presentation will include more than 100 newspaper stories from the state, providing a look at strange deaths, ghosts, sea serpents, peculiar people, medical anomalies, oddities, psychic phenomena and UFOs.
