Anniversary for Bette Anne and Duffy Brelsford

Bette Anne and Duffy Brelsford of Port Washington celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this summer.
The couple, their children and grandchildren took a two-week trip to Europe this summer to celebrate, spending a week at a 750-year-old, 10-bedroom hunting lodge in Tuscany, Italy.
Bette Anne Scherman and Duffy Brelsford were married on July 12, 1969, at the Catholic Church of St. Mark in St. Paul, Minn.
Mr. Brelsford was a math and science teacher at Port Washington High School and his wife was a pediatric registered nurse. They are retired.
Their children are ReBecca (Andrew) Sasseville of San Antonio, Sarah (Jason) Hansen of Caledonia, Katie (Blake) Bostwick of Littleton, Colo., and Jenny (Matt) Steenbock of Lakewood, Colo.
Their grandchildren are Jake and Zack Sasseville, Avery and Hadley Bostwick, and Henley, Sammie and Olivia Hansen.
