PAID OBITUARY

Anna Marie “Annie” Hoffman passed away at her Saukville home on Monday, July 29, 2019. She was 94 years old.  

Annie was born on Dec. 9, 1924, in Two Rivers, Wis., to William and Mary (nee Gill) O’Neil.  

She was united in marriage to her husband Leonard Hoffman on Aug. 27, 1955, at St. Gregory Church in St. Nazianz, Wisconsin.

Annie grew up in Quarry, Wis., graduating from Valders High School with the Class of 1942.

She went on to attend Silver Lake College studying nursing.  She then went to work for Dr. Raymond Yost in Manitowoc, Wis., for 11 years. Annie was later employed at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg, retiring in 1990.

Annie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.  

She enjoyed gardening, woodworking projects, spending time at her cabin enjoying the loons, going overboard at Christmas, all things Irish and most of all enjoying time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.   

Annie is survived by her children Catherine Hoffman and Gary (Cathy) Hoffman, grandchildren Terry (Phil) Vincevineus, Kevin, Rick, Maggie and Tom Hoffman and great-grandchildren Annie, Josie and Robert.  

Annie is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard, sons William and Mark and grandson Robert Hoffman.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday., Aug. 2, 2019, at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, Immaculate Conception Church. Father Patrick Wendt will preside.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 5:30 p.m.  

A private family burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Saukville, where Annie will be laid to rest next to her husband Leonard.
