Adult spelling bee to be held on May 4

“The Great GatsBee” is the theme for the sixth annual adult spelling bee sponsored by the Adult Literacy Center.

The event will be held Thursday, May 4, at the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center, 2360 Dakota Dr. in Grafton.

There will be appetizers, a raffle and wine pull from 6 to 7 p.m. A cash bar will be available, and soda, water and coffee will be served at no charge.

From 7 to 9 p.m. eight teams of three adults will compete in elimination rounds of the spelling bee.

Admission is $50 per person.
