Adding another tree to Grady Park

In honor of Arbor Day on April 27, Saukville Elementary students learned how to use their green thumbs by planting a Crimson King maple in Grady Park near the grade school. The tree was donated by Gene Fransee & Son Nursery & Landscaping, which has donated a tree each year to the park for more than 30 years. Village of Saukville Department of Public Works foreman Dan Helm planted the tree with the help of students (front row, from left) Jaxson White, Austin Heusdens, (back row) Kara Burke, Alex Nasiopulos and Keegan McGivern.          Photo by Sam Arendt
