4-H members busy bowling, preparing for annual dance

Ozaukee County 4-H members participated in their annual bowl-a-thon Sunday, Feb. 5, at Circle B Recreation Center in the Town of Cedarburg. Among the teams taking part in the annual fundraising event was one comprised of Holy Cross 4-H Club members (left photo, front row, from left) Benjamin Bennett, Marsie Bennett, Piper Buechler, Easton Brunner, (middle row) Lilly Jante, Evelyn Brunner, Reagan Buechler, (back row) Jack Van Minsel, Emma Van Minsel and Weston Buechler. Mr. and Miss Ozaukee 4-H, (right photo) Maria Lee and Tim Gierach, both of Lindenwood 4-H, donned their crowns and took the opportunity to promote the annual 4-H dance from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Ozaukee Pavilion at the county fairgrounds in Cedarburg. The dance is free and open to the public and features dance-offs for two age groups, fifth graders and younger at 8 p.m. and sixth grade and older at 9 p.m. There will also be a Sally Down the Alley at 7 p.m. Music will be by DJ Dan Bichler and a concessions stand will be available.
