‘Meet the Artists’ event set for June 13

Mercantile Plaza in Port Washington will host a “Meet the Artists” event from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 13.   

The event will provide an opportunity to meet more than 30 artists. 

“There is no one that can tell the story and inspiration behind a piece of artwork like the artist themselves,” Julie Christiansen, owner of Mercantile Plaza, said. 

The free event offers people the chance to talk with artists to learn about their methods and inspiration in a casual setting. 

There will also be complimentary refreshments and raffle prizes.
