Area girls’ soccer teams will begin their quest for postseason honors when they play WIAA regional semifinal games Thursday, June 2.

In Division 1, North Shore Conference co-champion Grafton received a No. 1 seed and will host West Allis Central (16) at 7 p.m. The winner faces the winner of a game between Menomonee Falls (8) vs. Wauwatosa East (9) in a regional final Saturday, June 4.

In Division 2, third-seeded Port Washington will host Milwaukee School of Languages (6) at 5 p.m Thursday. The winner advances to a Saturday title game against the winner of a game between Brown Deer (7) and Milwaukee Lutheran (2).

In Division 3, third-seeded Ozaukee will host Central Lakeshore Conference rival Cedar Grove-Belgium (7) at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The winner will face the winner of a match between Kettle Moraine Lutheran (2) and Whitefish Bay Dominican (7) on
Saturday.

Regional title games will be played on the home field of the highest-seeded semifinal winner.

Regional champions advance to sectional semifinals June 9.
