Michele Arhelger

Michele E. Arhelger of Port Washington died of a cardiac infection Friday, July 18, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was 44.

A funeral service for Mrs. Arhelger was scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Friedens Evangelical Church in Port Washington. The Rev. Stanley Conrad was to officiate.

Visitation was to be at the church from 5 p.m. until the service Wednesday.

Private burial services are to be held.

Memorials to the American Heart Association or Friedens Evangelical Church are suggested.

Funeral arrangements were handled through Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington.

Mabel Burton

Mabel M. Burton , who with her husband Harry created Harry’s Restaurant in downtown Port Washington, died Thursday, July 17, at Cedar Grove Gardens. She was 95.

A Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Burton was held Monday, July 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington. Father Tom Lijewski officiated.

Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Washington.

Memorials to St. Mary’s Endowment Fund are suggested.

Funeral arrangements were handled through Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.

Dennis Johnson

Port Washington native Dennis A. Johnson died from lung cancer Friday, July 11, at InnCare The Country House in Phelps. He was 68.

A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River.

Maxine Wold

Maxine J. Wold, 81, formerly of Woodstock, Ill., died Friday, July 18, at Dekora Springs in Saukville, where she had been a resident.

Funeral services were Tuesday, July 22, at Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington.The Rev. Phil Green officiated.

Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington, Ill.

Donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Diabetes Association are suggested.

The Eernisse Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Maria Meissner

A Mass of Christian burial was held Monday, July 21, for Maria Meissner, 77, who died Wednesday, July 16, at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake.

The Mass was held at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Mary’s Chapel in Random Lake.

Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Memorials to the Random Lake Area Interfaith Food Pantry are suggested.

Eernisse Funeral Home of Port Washington handled arrangements.
