Lions Fest to light up lakefront this weekend PDF Print E-mail

The 39th annual Port Washington Lions Fest will provided entertainment along the lakeshore Friday through Sunday, Aug. 2 to 4.

    The free festival, held in conjunction with the club’s fishing derby, features live music both days.

    The entertainment kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday with music by Oil Can Harry.

    On Saturday, Port’s own Will Pfrang will play from noon to 1 p.m. followed by Xeno & Joe from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.

    Left on Sunset will close the night with music from 7 to 11 p.m.

    On Sunday, Smooth Groove will entertain the crowd from 10 a.m. to noon and the Happy Schnapps Combo will play from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

    A video arcade game tent, raffles and a Sunday afternoon cornhole tournament will be held Sunday afternoon.

    Brats, hamburgers, fish and chips, and beverages will be available throughout the weekend.
