A 39-year-old Port Washington man and his 2-year-old son were injured in a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Holland in Sheboygan County late last week.

Tony Ernisse and his son Evan were taken to Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital following the June 13 accident, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department.

The other driver, 58-year-old Sharon Crivello of Hingham, and her 9-year-old grandson were also injured.

Crivello was taken to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, while her grandson was taken by a Flight for Life helicopter to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa, according to the sheriff’s department.

According to Lt. Mark Rupnik, the accident occured about 11:37 a.m. when an eastbound pick-up truck driven by Ernisse collided with a northbound car driven by Crivello at the intersection of highways RR and KW.

Rupnik said Crivello pulled out from a stop sign and collided with Ernisse’s truck.Daily-Press

In addition to the sheriff’s department, the Oostburg, Random Lake, Plymouth and Orange Cross ambulance services and Cedar Grove and Random Lake fire departments responded to the scene.

The accident remains under investigation, Rupnik said.

Crivello was cited for an improper left turn, he said.
