    Longtime Saukville resident Jennifer L. Lemke-Rude died Friday, May 10, in Milwaukee. She was 37.
 A memorial service was to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Mueller Funeral Home and Crematory in Grafton.

    Rev. Tom Kruse was to officiate.

    Visitation was to be Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the service.

    Memorials to the family are appreciated.

Genevieve A. Voigt died at Horizon Hospice in Mequon on Sunday, May 12. She was 97.

    The Town of Belgium native lived in Milwaukee, Pewaukee, Manitowoc and at Harbor Cove in Port Washington during her life.

    A Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Voigt will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Our Lady of the Lakes, St. Nicholas Chapel in Dacada. Father James Ernster will officiate.

    Visitation will be at the church Saturday from noon until the service.

    Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association are suggested.

    Funeral arrangements are being handled by Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington.

Victoria Rae Landing, 9, died Tuesday, May 7, at her Fredonia home of complications from Rett Syndrome. She was diagnosed with the chronic disease of the brain at age 2-1/2.

Funeral services will be at noon Friday, May 10, at St. John’s Lutheran Church,  Fredonia.  

The Rev. Robert Zick will preside.  

Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Fredonia.
Visitation will be at Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, followed by a time of sharing at 6:30 p.m., and at the church from 11 a.m. until noon Friday.  

Memorials are suggested to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation or Balance, Inc. for the Special Summer Recreational Program.

    Former Grafton resident Earl W. Betzhold had a talent for woodworking and could often be found in his workshop creating furniture for his family.

    He made night stands, a hope chest for his wife Barbara and cradles for his grandchildren and great-grandchild.

    “He was really very good at woodworking and was very meticulous about what he did,” his wife said.

    Mr. Betzhold died of cancer at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. He was 83.

    He was born in Milwaukee on Sept. 18, 1929, to Art and Anita Betzhold.

    He served in the Army with the 884th Engineer Aviation Maintenance Company from 1951 to 1953.

    On Jan. 16, 1954, he married his childhood sweetheart, Patsy Fransee in Milwaukee.

    The couple moved to Grafton in 1957.

    Mrs. Betzhold preceded her husband in death in 1998.

    On April 29, 2000, Mr. Betzhold married Barbara Knudsen at the Grafton Hotel.

    The couple enjoyed traveling to Florida, went to Hawaii twice and went on a Caribbean cruise.

    Mr. Betzhold owned and operated Ozaukee Welding and Sheet Metal in Grafton for nearly 10 years and was the first employee at Construction Forms, now located in Port Washington.

    He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

    “He was just a jewel of a man. He was very ambitious and he was very meticulous,” his wife said.

    He is survived by his wife Barbara of Sheboygan Falls; children Bill (Lump) of Hay River, Northwest Territories, Canada, Bonnie (Tom Jordan) Albrecht of West Bend, Terry Binns of Saukville and Brian (Gail) of Grafton; grandchildren Justin Carris, Nathan Betzhold, Cody Binns (fiancee Claire Broadwell), Emily Massingale and Josh Albrecht; and one great-granddaughter.

    Mr. Betzhold is further survived by stepchildren Bob (Renee) Serre and Lance (Melissa) Horozewski, all of Janesville; stepgrandchildren Logan Serre, Nathan Korevaar and Anna Horozewski; brothers-in-law Gene Fransee of Saukville and Bernie Gotthardt of Whitefish Bay.

    In addition to his first wife Patsy and his parents Art and Anita Betzhold, he was preceded in death by his brother Donald.

    A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton.

    The Rev. John Norquist will officiate.

    Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. Friday until the service.

    Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton.

    Memorials to the family are appreciated.

    Longtime Cedarburg resident Evelyn F. Klug died on Sunday, May 5, at Lasata Care Center. She was 91.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, at Community United Methodist Church in Cedarburg.

    The Rev. David Blackmer will officiate.

    A reception will be held in the fellowship hall at Community United Methodist Church, following the funeral.

    Memorials to the church are suggested.

    Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is assisting the family with arrangements.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 6, for Port Washington resident Michael Kallaur, 89, who died Sunday, April 28, at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon.

Funeral services with full military honors will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the service.
