Port Washington native Jeffery N. Hunkel, 46, of Portage, died Tuesday, Feb 2.  
    
Memorial services were held Saturday, Feb. 6, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Portage. The Rev. Alan Boeck officiated.  

Military honors by Portage area veterans followed the service.  

A private inurnment was held.

Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage handled arrangements.

Paul W. Weyker of Port Washington died Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Cedar Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cedarburg.

Mr. Weyker, who lived on Monroe Street, was 73.

He was better known as by his nickname Sweeney.

Funeral arrangements are pending through Eernisse Funeral home in Port Washington.

Darrel P. Schultz died of a heart attack on Monday, Jan. 11, at his home in Hobart, Ind. He was 76.

A funeral for Mr. Schultz was held Jan. 14 at First United Methodist Church of Hobart, with the Rev. Jonathan Gosser and the Rev. Jill Lowery officiating.

Memorials to the church are suggested.

Funeral arrangements were handled through Burns Funeral Home in Hobart, Ind.

Former Saukville resident Thomas A. Puetz, 60, died of cirrhosis of the liver Thursday, Feb. 4, in North Carolina.

A funeral service for Mr. Puetz will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Poole Funeral Home in Port Washington. Father Patrick Wendt will officiate.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sheboygan.

Timothy B. Johnson died of a heart attack Sunday, Jan. 31, at his home. He was 56.

Private funeral services were held.

Memorials to the Ozaukee Humane Society are suggested.

Funeral arrangements were handled through Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.

A memorial service will be held in Arizona for former Grafton resident Katherine L. Sinkular.

Mrs. Sinkular, 89, died Sunday, Jan. 31. She had been living in Sun City, Ariz.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at Bellevue Heights Church in Sun City.

Memorials to the church’s music ministry are requested.
