Longtime Port Washington resident Gertrude Hurst, 87, who lived in Waunakee, died of colon cancer Friday, March 26, at HospiceCare Inc. in Fitchburg.
A memorial service for Mrs. Hurst will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at Gunderson West Funeral Home, 7453 University Ave., Middleton.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service.
A time of fellowship will follow at Sprecher’s Restaurant and Pub in Middleton.
Memorials to Waunakee Manor or HospiceCare Inc. are suggested.

Former Port Washington resident Gilbert E. Duarte died of complications of pneumonia Monday, March 29, at St. Mary’s Home at Felician Village in Manitowoc.
Mr. Duarte, who was best known as Gibby, was 89.
A funeral service for Mr. Duarte will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 5, at St. Mary’s Home at Felician Village in Manitowoc.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the service.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Washington.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.

Mildred R. Schuh, 69, who owned Herman’s Service Center in Cedarburg with her husband, died of breast cancer Wednesday, March 17, at her Cedarburg home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon Saturday, March 27, at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church in Cedarburg.
Visitation will at the church from 10 a.m. until the Mass.
Mueller Funeral Home of Cedarburg is handling arrangements.

Former Port Washington resident Luann L. Fergus, 75, died Friday, March 19, in West Bend.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Phillip Funeral Home Chapel in West Bend. Father Jeffrey Haines will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the service. |

Longtime Saukville resident Verna L. Schmidt, 90, died Thursday, March 18, at Ellen’s Home in Port Washington, where she had lived for the past two years.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville.
Interment was to be Wednesday, March 24, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Saukville.
Arrangements were handled by Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg.

Elizabeth Teeters, who was best known as Betty, died Thursday, March 18, at her home on Crystal Springs Drive in the Town of Fredonia. She was 67.
A Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Teeters was held Tuesday, March 23, at Holy Rosary Parish, St. Rose Chapel in Fredonia. Father Richard Fleischman officiated.
Interment was in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Memorials are suggested.
Funeral arrangements were handled through Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.
