Port Washington resident Hubert C. Gruetzmacher died of colon cancer Saturday, Oct. 1, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 82.

A memorial service for Mr. Gruetzmacher was to be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington. Pastoral Associate Chris Lear was to officiate.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 p.m. Wednesday until the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested.

A funeral service was held Monday for Ayleen J. Bourdow of Port Washington, who died Thursday, Sept. 29, at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port.

She was 81.

The service was held at Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington.

Interment was in Old Settler’s Rest Cemetery in Mequon.

Memorials to Riveredge Nature Center in the Town of Saukville are suggested.

Former Saukville resident John J. VanDeBoom, 83, died of a heart attack on Sept. 26, at his home in West Allis.

There were no services.

Burial will be Thursday at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saukville.

Memorials to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor’s choice are suggested.

Former Port Washington resident Jane G. Curtiss died Thursday, Sept. 29, at her home in Surprise, Ariz. She was 93.

A funeral service for Mrs. Curtiss will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee. The Rev. Marilyn Borchardt will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association or the Wounded Warrior Project are suggested.

Former Port Washington resident Harvey A. Weber, who lived in Greenfield, died of prostate cancer at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa.  He was 82.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Mount Calvary.

Memorials are suggested in Mr. Weber’s name to the Mead Public Library Foundation of Sheboygan.

Funeral arrangements were handled through Sippel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Former Fredonia resident Daniel E. Ehren, 50, of Plymouth, died Monday, Sept. 19, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan after a lengthy illness.

A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington. The Rev. Aaron Martell of New Life Community Church in Plymouth will preside.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the service.

Memorials are requested.
