    Grafton resident Max L. Ruffert died Thursday, April 26, of a heart attack at the Watertown Regional Medical Center. He was 88.

    A memorial and American Legion service was to be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton. Visitation was to be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Wendorf of St. Paul Lutheran Church was to officiate.

    Inurnment will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Grafton.

    Memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association are appreciated.

    Mueller Funeral Home of Grafton is handling arrangements.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 3, for longtime Saukville resident Elizabeth Biever, 88, who died Monday, April 30, at Lasata Crossings in Cedarburg.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg. Father Kevin Kowalske will officiate.

Visitation was to be at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Burial will be at the parish cemetery.

Memorials are requested.

Dena C. Claussen De Blaey, 91, died Thursday, April 19, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

    A funeral service was held Sunday, April 22, at First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove. The Rev. Kent Vant Hul officiated.  

    A private interment will take place in Hartman Cemetery in the Town of Wilson.

    Wenig Funeral Home of Oostburg handled arrangements.

James C. Schmidt of the Town of Belgium died Thursday, April 19, following emergency surgery at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He was 55.
 
    A funeral service was held Tuesday, April 24, at Open Door Bible Church in Port Washington. Pastors Sid Litke, Jim engelman and Seth Meeks officiated.

    Burial was in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery in Lake Church.

    Memorials are suggested to the National Stroke Association, the American Diabetes Association or Open Door Bible Church.
 
    Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington assisted the family.

Grafton resident Debra L. Dominie, 52, died from cancer at her home on Wednesday, April 18.

A celebration of Ms. Dominie’s life was held Monday, April 23, at Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington.

Memorials are requested to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Fredonia area native Emily C. Liermann, 79, died April 14 in Duck Key, Fla., after a short illness.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at San Pablo Catholic Church in Marathon, Fla.

Donations are requested to the CB Charitable Foundation, 11050 Overseas Hwy., Marathon, FL 33050.
