Grafton resident Nicolas R. Terrones, 31, died at his home from brain cancer on Feb. 22.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday, Feb. 26, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg. Father Dan Janasik officiated.

Burial was at St. Francis Borgia Parish Cemetery in Mequon.

Memorials are requested to an education fund for Mr. Torrones’ daughters at M&I Bank.

Arrangements were handled by Eernisse Funeral Home, Cedarburg.

Port Washington resident Leona S. Simons, 87, who had been living at the Lincoln Village apartments in Port Washington, died from cancer Thursday, Feb. 24, at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital’s Horizon Hospice in Mequon.

A funeral Mass was held Monday, Feb. 28, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. Father Thomas Lijewski and Father Karl Acker officiated.

Interment was at Rural Home Cemetery in Big Bend.

Memorials are requested to the Oscar Grady Library or the Ozaukee Humane Society, both in Saukville.

Arrangements were handled by Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.

Saukville resident John H. Lundquist, 83, died from prostate cancer on Thursday, Feb. 24, at Ellen’s Home in Port Washington.

He had lived at the care facility since last summer. Mr. Lundquist previously lived on Chiswell Street in Saukville.

There were no funeral services.

Burial was at the Village of Port Edwards Cemetery in Port Edwards.

Arrangements were handled by Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.

Elmer P. Schmit, who lived for years at 728 N. Montgomery St. in Port Washington, died of complications of pneumonia Monday, Feb. 28, at the Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 92.

A Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Schmit will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington. Father Tom Lijewski will officiate.

Visitation will be at the church from 3:30 p.m. until the Mass.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Washington.

Memorials to the St. Vincent dePaul Society, care of St. Mary’s Church in Port Washington, or a charity of the donor’s choice are suggested.

Funeral arrangements were handled through Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.

Killian H. Bode Sr. , who lived at 154 E. Prospect St. in Port Washington for much of his life, died of complications from Alzheimer’s disease Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Harbor Cove in Port. He was 89.

A funeral service for Mr. Bode was held Friday, Feb. 25, at Holy Rosary Parish, Holy Cross Chapel. Father James Ernster officiated.

Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Port Washington.

Memorials are suggested.

Funeral arrangements were handled through Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb. 24, for former Port Washington resident Dorothy C. Krick, who died of pneumonia Monday, Feb. 21, at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon.

Mrs. Krick, 82, lived in Cedar Grove.

Father Jim Ernster will officiate the 6 p.m. memorial service Thursday at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Thursday until the service.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Washington.

Memorials are suggested.
