Howard W. Schulze died Saturday, April 3, at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington. He was 83. Mr. Schulze, a longtime Port Washington resident, fell about a month ago, then suffered a bout of pneumonia and “he never really recovered,” his son Don said. A funeral service for Mr. Schulze will be held at noon Saturday, April 10, at Friedens Evangelical Church in Port Washington. The Rev. Brandon Lemons will officiate. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Cedar Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Friedens Evangelical Church or Pioneer Village are suggested. Funeral arrangements were handled through Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington.
