Longtime Port Washington alderman Peter J. Jushka died at his 413 Summit Dr. home in Port on Saturday, Jan. 16. He was 73. A memorial Mass for Mr. Jushka will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington. Father Tom Lijewski will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials to the Port Washington Historical Society or American Cancer Society are suggested. Funeral arrangements were handled through Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.
