Former Saukville resident Lorraine O. Schubert died Wednesday, June 19, at Kathyâ€™s Hospice in the Township of Trenton. She was 90.
She was born in Saukville on May 9, 1923, to Alvin and Elsie Shimelfeny Lowitz.
Mrs. Schubert worked for many years at Badger Raincoat in Port Washington.
On May 12, 1951, she and Elmer Schubert were married at St. Peterâ€™s United Church of Christ in Saukville.
The couple settled on a farm in the Township of Trenton.
In June 2005, Mr. Schubert died.
Mrs. Schubert was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.
She enjoyed farming, cross stitch and crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Schubert is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents Alvin and Elsie Lowitz and her sister Bernice Lowitz.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.
Interment was at Immanuel Cemetery.
