Ralph “Red” Klopp, who got his nickname for his red hair, died Wednesday, March 6, at Harbor Cove in Port Washington, where he lived for the past three years. He was 91.

    A funeral service for Mr. Klopp will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 15, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. The Rev. Kenton Wendorf and the Rev. Vernon Heim will officiate.

    Visitation will be at the church Friday from noon until the service.

    Mr. Klopp will be buried with military honors in Union Cemetery, Port Washington.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight or St. Paul Lutheran Church are suggested.

    Funeral arrangements are being handled through Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington.
