Town of Fredonia resident Donna M. Hartmann, 54, died at her home Sunday, Jan. 20, following a year-long battle with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig Disease.

A funeral to celebrate her life will take place at St. John Lutheran Church in Sherman Center at 3 p.m.  Thursday, Jan. 24.

The Rev. Randal Schoemann will officiate.

Burial will follow at the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Sherman Center.

Visitation was to be at the church from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the service.

Memorial are suggested to the St. John Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, St. John Carillon Fund and the T-Baum Foundation.

Arrangements are being handled by Wenig Funeral Home, Oostburg.
