Former Port Washington resident John “Hans” Bostwick died at his home in Burlington on Tuesday, Sept. 11 from Myelodysplastic syndrome. He was 72.
   
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, at Poole Funeral Home. A service will follow at Union Cemetery in Port Washington.

    Memorials to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society are suggested.
