Former Port Washington resident Claude Stokdyk, 84, who was known as Smokey, died Thursday, July 12, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. A memorial service was to be held Wednesday, July 18, at First Presbyterian Church in Peru. The Rev. Stephen Quinlan was to officiate. Burial was to be at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Ind. Memorial donations are requested to First Presbyterian Church in Peru. Arrangements were handled by Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home in Peru.
