Longtime Port Washington resident John E. “Jack” Gahan Jr., 72, died Tuesday, May 22, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton from the effects of multiple sclerosis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington. Father Pat Wendt will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, and at the church Saturday, from 10 a.m. until the Mass.

Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Washington.

Memorials are requested to the National MS Society Wisconsin Chapter, 1120 James Dr., Suite A, Hartland 53029.
