Former Port Washington resident Ruth P. Knoespel died at Harbor Chase of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Fla., on Thursday, May 17. She was 98.

    A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Port Washington. The Rev. David Guse will officiate.

    Visitation will be at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday.

    Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Port Washington.

    Memorials to Grand Avenue United Methodist Church are suggested.

    Funeral arrangements are being handled through Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington.
