Port Washington native Christopher Steinert died of complications of cystic fibrosis Monday, April 23, at his parents’ home in Charles City, Iowa. He was 37.

    A memorial Mass for Mr. Steinert will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City, Iowa. Father Carl Ries will officiate.

    Visitation will be at the church from 3 p.m. Friday until the Mass.

    A private family burial service will be held.

    Memorials to the family or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at www.CFF.org are suggested.

    Funeral arrangements were handled through Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City, Iowa.
