Bernice Taucher died Saturday, Oct. 8, at her home at Lasata Crossings in Cedarburg, just days before she would have turned 103.

Mrs. Taucher, 102, had lived at the assisted-living facility since August 2009.

A funeral service for Mrs. Taucher was held Saturday, Oct. 22, at Poole Funeral Home in Port Washington.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Port Washington.

Memorials to the Community Education Foundation of Port Washington-Saukville are suggested.
