Port Washington resident Leona S. Simons, 87, who had been living at the Lincoln Village apartments in Port Washington, died from cancer Thursday, Feb. 24, at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital’s Horizon Hospice in Mequon.

A funeral Mass was held Monday, Feb. 28, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. Father Thomas Lijewski and Father Karl Acker officiated.

Interment was at Rural Home Cemetery in Big Bend.

Memorials are requested to the Oscar Grady Library or the Ozaukee Humane Society, both in Saukville.

Arrangements were handled by Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington.
