Grafton resident Edward D. Shepard, 79, died of heart failure at his Ninth Avenue home on Wednesday, Dec. 29, after a yearlong illness.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Jan. 2, at Phillip Funeral Home, West Bend. Chaplain Bob Lantz presided.
