Oyvind Hansen

Oyvind “Erv” B. Hansen, 82, who lived on Towhee Trail in the Town of Port Washington, died of renal cancer Tuesday, Dec. 21, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Memorials in Mr. Hansen’s name are requested to Right to Play, an international organization that provides safe areas for children to play. It was founded by Johann Olav Koss, the four-time Norwegian gold medalist whom Mr. Hansen met while attending the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway.

Arrangements are being handled by Eernisse Funeral Home.
