Longtime Port Washington resident Edith Wallestad died Thursday, Oct. 14, at Aurora Visiting Nurse Family Hospice in Wauwatosa. She was 87. A funeral service for Mrs. Wallestad will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Port Washington. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ the King Church or the Alzheimer’s Association are suggested.
