YOUR PIX: Mooo . . . it’s a snow cow!

The snow was thick and wet and packed perfectly, just the right medium for the kids who call themselves “the Stacker Park gang” to create a snow sculpture they named “Dairy Queen” because it’s not a snowman but a snow cow. Gathered around the white cow with the perky horns and jaunty red scarf were (from left) Eva Lane, Freddy Lane, David Pionek, Gabe Clark, Isaac Pionek, Una Lane, Abby Clark, Magda Lane and Judah Vallier. One of Port Washington’s smallest parks, Stacker Park is located at the corner of Webster and Chestnut streets. On Saturday morning, its pavement was buried under a heavy fall of snow, just what neighborhood kids who had been enduring a virtually snowless winter wanted to see. Photo submitted by Elisa Pionek
