YOUR PIX: Cruising to find dinner or maybe a mate

Cindy Harmeyer of Saukville captured this sharp image of a northern harrier in flight over the Forest Beach Migratory Preserve in the Town of Belgium last weekend. The bird of prey was probably hunting for mice, voles or gophers, but it might also have been keeping an eye out for a potential mate. Northern harriers are one of the few raptors that practice polygyny; one male can have as many as five wives.
