William Koepke Jr.

William N. Koepke Jr. of Saukville died Saturday, Sept. 21, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 59.

Mr. Koepke was born in Milwaukee on Dec. 13, 1959, to William Sr. and Alice McAteer Koepke. He graduated from Custer High School and served in the U.S. Army.  

After his military service, Mr. Koepke studied police science at Milwaukee Area Technical College.

Mr. Koepke worked for WH Brady Co. in Milwaukee for more than 20 years. During that time, he worked in various jobs in the production and shipping/receiving departments.

Mr. Koepke appreciated classic cars from the 1970’s and enjoyed fishing throughout Wisconsin.

Mr. Koepke is survived by his children Candie (Jacob) Poull of the Town of Saukville and Billy of Saukville and brother Ron (Roseanne) of Richfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Carol Grams and brothers Michael and Tim.

Military honors will be held at the Port Washington State Bank Pavilion in Rotary Park in Port Washington at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.  

A gathering will be held Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Schooner Pub.

Memorials to Fisher House Wisconsin are suggested.

Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington, is handling the arrangements.
