Entertainment options abound for fans of baseball, cornhole, art and pyrotechnic devices in Belgium this weekend.

The Cedar Grove Belgium Athletic Association will hold a youth baseball tournament Friday through Sunday.

Age brackets include 14 and younger, 12 and younger and 10 and younger. The oldest group will play at Community Park and the two younger ones will play at Heritage Park.

Games begin at 5 p.m. Friday and continue Saturday and Sunday.

All three championship games will be played at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The tournament includes 27 teams from 10 communities, including Port Washington, Saukville, Cedar Grove and Belgium, Kewaskum, Elkhart Lake, Kohler, Plymouth, Sheboygan and Long Lake.

The annual fireworks show will be held at dusk in Heritage Park. The show is sponsored by Port Washington State Bank, the Village of Belgium, Belgium Fire Department, Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce, Melvin Wester American Legion Post 412 of Belgium, the Belgium Lions and the Cedar Grove Belgium Athletic Association.

The association is holding a new event this year, the Bags and Bats Cornhole Tourney on Saturday in Heritage Park.

Registration begins at 11 a.m. with pool play starting at noon. The cost is $30 per team. There’s an 80% payout to the top three teams in each division.

Patriotic cornhole boards will be raffled off.

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase at both parks all weekend.

The Old Town Hall Art Studio and Gallery will hold an opening reception from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday for Rhythm & Time, an exhibit by William Weidner and Steven Tourdot.

Weidner is a painter-turned-sculptor from Sheboygan.

Tourdot is a painter and works in other mediums. He is from Reedsburg.

Both artists are former teachers.

The gallery is at 814 Main St.
