A super time to start the school year

Returning to school each fall is always an exciting time for students and their families, but the occasion was extra special for at least one student at Kennedy Elementary School in Grafton on Friday, Sept. 7. Above, Bobby Simmons Jr., 6, was accompanied by the Black Ranger (his father Bobby Simmons in costume) and Nancy Hassan. Below, families waited outside for their time to enter the newly renovated school. Rededication ceremonies for Kennedy and Woodview schools will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 5 and 6:30 p.m., respectively. Photos by Sam Arendt
