Self-defense class for children starts Jan. 21

    “Dragons Self-Defense” will provide instruction to children ages 4 to 12  in a variety of self-defense genres beginning Jan. 21 in Grafton.
    The program, which is focused on non-violent conflict resolution, will teach self-defense, karate and safety awareness as well as ways to identify, avoid, reason with, evade or defend against a bully.  
    The classes will be taught by Sensei Stan at the Grafton Multipurpose Senior Center, 1665 Seventh Ave.  
    Classes will be held on Tuesdays from Jan. 21 to March 3.  
    Beginner classes will run from 5:30 to 6:10 p.m. and advanced classes from 6:15 to 6:55 p.m.
    The cost is $56 for Village of Grafton residents and $60 for nonresidents.
