Saints go quietly into the offseason

The Saukville Saints ended their season with two home losses last weekend.

On Sunday, the Saints fell, 15-2, to the Hartford Hawks.

The Saints were limited to three hits by four different Hawks’ pitchers. Taylor Devenport, Tom Hartwick and Nick Mueller each had one.

On Saturday, the Saints lost, 6-0, to the Brownsville 49ers.

Pitcher Jason Schneider limited the Saints to three base runners. Steve Dickmann and Mike Pruefer each singled, and Mike Sherrick was hit by a pitch.

Hartwick went the distance and allowed six earned runs on 13 hits while walking four.

49er Jack Cole had three hits.

The Saints finished the season 2-14 in the Rock River League.
