Port Kiwanis Club to hold poker run on Sept. 1

    The Greater Port Washington Kiwanis Club will host a poker run and beer garden on Saturday, Sept. 1.
    The poker run  will begin with registration at 11 a.m. at Wayne’s Drive-In in the Town of Cedarburg and make stops at Suburban Motors in Thiensville, Stoney Hill Pub and Grille in Waubeka and Schooner Pub, the Holiday Inn and the Kiwanis Club’s beer garden in Upper Lake Park, all in Port Washington.
    Riders will receive a punch card to have punched at each stop for prizes that include a weekend in Port Washington and Suburban Motors gift cards.
    The fee is $15 per person or $25 per couple.
    The beer garden, which will run in the park from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., will offer food and music as well as beverages.
