Grafton High School catcher Jack Pawlak was named one of the top 72 seniors in the state by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association and played on the East team in the All-Star Classic on June 29 and 30 in Oshkosh.

The East team went 2-1 in the tournament. On June 29, East beat West, 11-6. Pawlak led off the fifth inning with a double to center and later scored. In the seventh, he singled and scored.

On June 30, East beat South, 14-5; and lost to North, 4-2.

Pawlak played catcher and first base in the tournament.

“He did a nice job,” Grafton coach Brian Durst said.
