Margaret Kettenhoven

PAID OBITUARY

Margaret Mary (Guthrie) Kettenhoven, age 80, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in North Prairie.  
Margaret was born on Jan. 10, 1939, the daughter of the late Robert and Mina Guthrie.  
She graduated from Shorewood High School.
She married her loving husband, John W. Kettenhoven, in Dubuque, Iowa, and had that marriage blessed on Sept. 23, 1962, at St. Mary’s Church in Port Washington.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John in 1989, her dear sister Willie Guthrie, her dear brother-in-law Jame (Phylis) Kettenhoven and her father and mother-in-law John and Elenore Cheslock.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving sister Jean Ann Guthrie Bodwin of Mesa, Ariz.; her seven children, Kathyrn (Jeff) Seznak, Jill (Vern) Klokow, Robert Kettenhoven, Michael (Stacie Malueg) Kettenhoven, John (Kris) Kettenhoven, Richard (Kenda) Kettenhoven and William (Lisa) Kettenhoven; her 18 grandchildren, Sarah, Bryan, Kevin, Jennifer, Joe, Cory, Cassandra, Sean, John J., Shawn, Morgan, Veronica, Jarred, Jaedyn, Colin, Faith, Austin and Tannor; her eight great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kenedeigh, Noah, Carter, Payton, Parker, Riley and Reese; nieces and nephews of the Kettenhoven and Bodwin families; and many wonderful and dear friends.
A memorial Mass for Margaret was held on Monday, May 13, at St. Theresa Catholic Church  in Eagle, with Father Loyola Amalraj officiating.  
Burial of cremated remains was on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Washington.
Memorial contributions in Margaret’s name can be directed to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation, www.lungcancerresearchfoundation.org, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
