LETTER: It’s Trump’s critics who are not abiding by the will of voters

To Ozaukee Press:

I welcome divergent thought, but it needs to be cogent and written with some balance and fairness; not just one-sided rhetoric. An example is the letter to the editor in last week’s Ozaukee Press with the headline, “Did Cohen mean Trump would refuse to leave if he lost the vote?”

The letter writer stated, “The orderly transition of power is essential in democracy and every candidate must unequivocally abide by the will of the voters.” And asked, “would he (Trump) claim the election was rigged and refuse to relinquish power” if he lost in 2020?

Am I to believe the writer presents this scenario as referring exclusively to President Trump? Or that he honestly thinks what is going on now is an “orderly transition?” Are those obstructing this current transition abiding “by the will of the voters” or do they claim “the election was rigged and refuse to relinquish power”?

Words have meaning and you can’t have your own interpretations to spin your own narrative.
