LETTER: Focused on what is right for students, teachers, community

To Ozaukee Press:

I would like to say thank you to the many people who helped me in my campaign for the Port Washington-Saukville School Board. Families allowed me to put signs in their yards, businesses displayed my promotional literature, many people helped me deliver campaign material, others helped call or text people to remind them to vote and others baked goods for the meet-and-greet event when I started the campaign back in February.

My family and friends have been supportive through the process. My learning curve continues to grow. Thank you for your patience and guidance as you help me keep focus on what is right for our students, teachers and community.

I will work hard to keep the learning community at the forefront when it comes to making decisions. The community and School Board should continue to work together. I’ve always believed that working together, we’re better.
