PAID OBITUARY

Jeanette H. Buckley (nee Hotvedt) was born to Eternal Life Monday, March 25, 2019, at the age of 96 years.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward T., brother Donald (Marian) Hotvedt and sisters Dorothy (Lloyd) Buchler and Marjorie Hotvedt.
Jeanette was the cherished mother of Jean (Bob) Dohnal, Edward T. Jr. (Vicki) and Mike (Victoria); caring grandma of David (Kim) Dohnal, Darcie (Anton) Sharapov, Brett (Kim) Dohnal, Cari (Ryan) Mackey, Kevin Dohnal, Meagan Buckley, Jennifer (Dennis) Snelson, Elizabeth (Tyler) Allen and Alexandra Buckley; and dear great-grandma of Alek, Nadia and Eva Sharapov, Tori Van Hooser, Harley and Robert Dohnal and Khristopher and Kassidy Snelson.

She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jeanette grew up in Chippewa Falls. She attended Ripon College, where she met her husband Edward Buckley Sr. As a war bride, she followed her husband around the United States to different posts. They had three wonderful children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was a scratch golfer, excellent tennis player, skilled figure skater and phenomenal bridge player.

After raising their children in Thiensville, Jeanette and Buck retired to Spring Hill, Fla., where they were to follow their passion of playing golf. Jeanette returned to her Wisconsin roots and lived at San Camillo, where she made many new friends and sharpened her bridge skills. It was near the home of her daughter and son-in-law, whose daily visits and treats of donuts, popcorn or custard became the highlights of her day.

Special thanks to the staffs of St. Camillus Skilled Nursing Care and Hospice facilities for their kind and compassionate care.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, from 3 to 4 p.m. at San Camillo Chapel, 10200 W. Bluemound Rd., Wauwatosa, followed by the celebration of memorial Mass of Christian burial at 4 p.m.
