Honoring those who protect and serve

Portview Church in the Town of Port Washington held a picnic Aug. 25. for police officers, firefighters, paramedics and emergency medical technicians from throughout the area to thank them for their service. Clockwise from above: Port Washington firefighter Eric Hill was encased in a plastic bubble for a bumper ball activity. Kyleey Hayes and Jazzy the rescue llama took part in the activities.
