Honoring his father

Ansay & Associates CEO Mike Ansay (left) presented the Adolph Ansay Lifetime Achievement Award to Father Jim Ernster (second from right) on Dec. 10 during a luncheon at Messina’s Restaurant in Saukville. The award is given periodically by Ansay to people who embody the core values of his father Adolph, who died in 1995. The award comes with a $1,000 donation to a charity of the recipient’s choice — in this case, Marquette University, which was the alma mater of both Ernster, who graduated in 1949, and Adolph Ansay, who was a member of the Class of 1929. The donation was accepted by Father Robert Wilde (seond from left), former president of the university, and Charles Ries (right), Marquette’s senior director of development design and innovation in university advancement.              Photo by Sam Arendt
