Grafton football players to play on

FOUR FOOTBALL PLAYERS from Grafton High School signed on to play for different universities last week. Joey Giorgi (top left photo) will play for Columbia University in New York City. He is receiving a grant to help pay for tuition. His parents Mary and Perri joined him for the signing ceremony. Jay Garza (topright) will play for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He was joined by his parents Ed and Sharon Garza. Caleb Buback (bottom left) will play for Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa. His parents Tim and Janice joined him. He is receiving a scholarship. Zach Weir (bottom right) will play for Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Ill. Family members at the ceremony included (from left) his mother Amy, sister Ashley and father Chuck. Weir will be a preferred walk-on.        Photos by Sam Arendt
