Emus right on time for class at Ozaukee Middle School

Seventh-graders at Ozaukee Middle School saw their science project come to life, when 16 of the 20 emu eggs they were incubating in John Kirmse’s class began hatching on April 10. The students nurtured the baby emus for about two weeks before they were taken to a farm in Adell. Student Chase Miller held a baby emu surrounded by his classmates.           Photo by Sam Arendt
