Dianne Jacque


Dianne Jacque died of complications of an autoimmune disease on Wednesday, July 24, at the Harbor Club assisted living facility in Port Washington.

She was 75.

She was born in Port Washington on Jan. 28, 1944, to Alfred and Adeline Schwartz Kurzbuch.

Ms. Jacque graduated from Port Washington High School in 1962 and studied to be a nursing assistant.

She married shortly after high school and was later divorced.

While raising her family, she worked part time as a nurse at Heritage Nursing Home and then St. Alphonsus Hospital, both in Port Washington.

Her family said she enjoyed gardening, camping, dancing, going to the state and county fairs, attending family get-togethers, working on puzzles and being with her children and grandchildren.

Ms. Jacque is survived by her children Greg of Port Washington, Gretchen Federspiel of Appleton, Renee (David Geib) Jacque of Saukville, Rochelle (Kelly) Phillips of Port Washington and Danielle (Matthew) Oberndorfer of Thiensville; grandchildren Greggory Jacque, Madisyn and Marcus Phillips, and Emma and Henry Oberndorfer; and brother Philip (Jackie) Kurzbuch of Grafton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Kurzbuch Sr. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Cedarburg.

The Rev. Jeff Suddendorf will officiate. A lunch will be served after the service.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Interment will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Waubeka. Memorials to Family Sharing of Ozaukee are suggested.
